Asserting your rights makes you isolated and poor. Courageous people give away their rights. The degree to which you can give away your rights indicates your freedom, your strength. Only those who have rights can give them away! Demanding does not really bring rights to you and giving does not really take them away. Recognize that no one can take away your rights - that is freedom.
